Hanne Thomsen, a sophomore at Santa Rosa Montgomery High in California, placed second in the girls invitational 3,200 meters in a lifetime-best 9:55.31 at the 55th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Thomsen elevated to the No. 9 all-time California prep competitor, part of a group of nine athletes that achieved sub-10 performances.
